Hi

Smart Hub Plus seems to default to WPA2. Should I change this to transitional and, if I do, will it be easy enough to revert

@lotstarr3 Normally it defaults OOB on wpa3 as it's mode, as long as you can get to the router then change is not a problem.

You can easily change it back-&-forth between WPA2 & WPA3 until you find a setting that suits your devices. Same as between WiFi5 & WiFi6.

When  I try to change it in hub manager from WPA3 there is no option to set to WPA2? The 2 options are WPA3-personal or WPA3-personal-transition Any suggestions how I get to WPA2? The EE app cannot access wifi controls. Thanks

@PeterSMcD You will need to drop back onto a compatible network to do what you need, if now using one off the newer EE Smarthub+ onwards Routers, they stuffed the Main wifi....

@JimM11 as in I need to change away from EE? I was on BT and thought this was a simple change - it has turned into an absolute disaster

@PeterSMcD Got it, you are going to have to fight the fight, they did that back in Feb FW update, by early Mar i quit EE with 13months still to go, had enough off it by then! The web manager is going to be the best way to sort your EE Router out, the app not so sure it can even tackle it if you ever get it working consistently.
