I’m also having issues with the Deco x10 with my new EE broadband. I have 3 Decos set up and they are connected directly to the main EE router with Ethernet cables, however, my Wi-Fi keeps dropping and buffering. Speed tests all come back with 400mb+ download speeds but the connection is unstable. Any ideas?

Hi, did you ever get to the bottom of this? I’m having the same issues. I didn’t have this issue on my old BT FTTC connection.

@Conan_matrix Are you still using your old BT Smarthub2 if that is what you had, and now connected to the FF Full fibre connection?

@Conan_matrix Take a look at the pictures in the link below, the EE Router needs to be known to guide you which way, as they all have problems! Do you still have an old BT one?

I have the EE Smart Hub Pro

@Conan_matrix So why are you still using the deco x10, is the Pro just not cutting the mustard for you, Pro and a Pro Wireless extender now on wifi 7. Although you do not specifically have to disable wifi on devices, you do have to be sure that they play nicely with each other, that means the both understand and fold back especially if channeling together!

I’ve sent back the Decos and have ordered a couple of EE Wi-Fi extenders. I’m still get an unstable connection when issuing the Wi-Fi. Just been on a call and the connection was poor.

@Conan_matrix Honestly best to take a step back, just get the Pro hub working the way you need, steady and behaving itself, then after that stick one Smart Wireless Extender on at a time, do the Ethernet connection method, leave it all alone for the 24Hrs side by side, hope it does any FW updates, then disconnect move and leave for a couple day's....
Rinse and repeat for the others, you have NO control over the wireless wifi Mesh unless EE have introduced that to the system, they took the we will control it all, know what is best for it all, so it just all has to be left to work itself out! The two links below are the ones to look at!
