I have the smart hub plus router and I wanted to install a VPN directly into the router, but it is not possible/compatible. Is there a way to have a VPN for my PS5? I currently have NordVPN and unfortunately, I can’t even do the smartDNS for my ps5 since EE smart hub uses IPV6 and Nordvpn only allows IPV4 and there was no way to downgrade IPV6 to IPV4 on the smarthub. Is there a VPN service other than NORDVPN that is much more compatible to the EE smarthub plus router or a vpn that I can use for PS5?
Additionally, I have been trying to reduce my ping in games. My PS5 is already connected with a CAT 8 ethernet cable to the router and have the essentials full fibre gigabit plan, and I have already port forwarded all the necessary ports, but I am still not getting the speed or low pings that I want. I also asked EE support if there was an option to prioritize the port on the router hub where the PS5 is connected and they answered no. Is there anything else I can do to reduce lag/ping?

Hi @exlqt
Why do you need a VPN for your PS5?
You could buy another router/access point.
Thanks

@exlqt If you look on the NordVPN website you can find a list of compatible routers.
That said a VPN running on a router is only ever going to add to the CPU load increasing ping times, not reduce them.

To find servers with players in games. I also use my ps5 for netflix, so to watch shows/movies that are only available in that region, also for good security measures like ddos attacks.

To watch films not available in UK is piracy. The EE router will block DDoS attacks.
