VOIP with full fibre hub? Landline phone disconnected as quaity so bad.

We had Full fibre to our property last year. Which has been wonderful as we are at the greatest extent of old copper lines and our mobile hub was not sufficient for more than a Zoom call and some basic phone surfing.

So now we find that the mobile signal occasionally leaves us and we miss calls. We're thinking maybe get a Voip handset and ask for our old telephone number if it hasn't already been re assigned.

I see that EE doesn't handle VOIP but I'm unsure if that is old info.

Can someone advise.

@Mathew369   Hi, no it is not old info, EE do not offer a digital voice/VOIP service.

Your old number would have been put in quarantine to be reused by the original range holder, so getting it back would not be easy.

There are however plenty of VOIP suppliers you could choose to use,  but it is a bit of a mine field, so good luck with your research.

EE BB will handle VoIP; it just doesn't supply it. You will have to employ a VoIP provider with a new no. having given your previous no. up.
