Unable to send emails after migrating from Plusnet to EE

BristleGirl

Although Plusnet moved our email support to Greenby a while back, we were still able to send and receive emails as we always had, via Outlook on our pc.  However, since last week's migration to EE's broadband we are no longer able to SEND emails from our Outlook account.  We can send emails via the Greenby website, but that is not terribly satisfactory.

We are wondering if any other ex-Plusnet customers have encountered this problem and, if so, how they have solved it.

We are not able to contact Greenby except via an AI bot, which is not solving this (so far) so thought we'd try this community for ideas.

Greenby suggested we should reset our Outgoing server settings in Outlook to mail.plusnet.enmail.co and Port 25 and no encryption.  We have done this and still can't send emails.

Note this: Port 25 is generally not recommended for sending emails outside the Plusnet network due to ISP restrictions and security concerns.

Also the server for SMTP should be relay.plus.net

@BristleGirl - I imagine you'd get more tailored advice over on the Plusnet forum. If Greenby Webmail is working then it does suggest the issue is something to do with your outgoing settings (either server or account credential related).
