Hi there,
I've just placed an order for the ultrafast fttp broadband (900Mb/s) but am currently using my own Unifi equipment (usg-3 + wifi6 lite ap) with an openreach modem. Will I still be able to use this set up or will I need a new modem? Or can I use the new ee router and put it into passthrough mode without wifi to avoid double nat?
Also, does anyone know if the connection provided is ipv4 or ipv6?
Thanks in advance

Got my FTTP today and trying to use my Edgerouter X (so similar to USG) but cant get it working.
Have created the PPPOE interface and it connects and appears to get an IP address but I cannot access the internet or ping anything even from the router.
Tried power cycling the lot, still no joy.
Any ideas?

Worked it out, yesterday when the router arrived I connected to it and copied the user/pass which is now obviously to me that they were generic.
Now there is an updated user/pass in the router so I was using duff credentials. Using these credentials now works 🙂
Doh
