UPnP

Hi - I have uPnP disabled on my router by choice. I notice a secondary option named "uPnP" enhanced security" - should this be enabled or disabled if my ultimate goal is for enhanced general security, or does it not matter given UPNP is disabled as a whole? Trying to make sure I'm not misunderstanding the way these settings are implemented.

Does it not say:

"We recommend you keep 'Extended UPnP Security' turned on to make sure your home network is secure."?

Why not follow its advice?

Because it's possible to change the setting independent of the general UpNP setting above. It seems odd that you'd be able to enable this setting when UPNP is switched off

Then leave it off.

It's probably irreverent when uPnP = OFF.
