Transferring from BT to EE and products have been removed from my account

Hi,

First post here.

I was with BT for over 20 years but it was that time for contract renewal so I called up to discuss plan & pricing options. After a long call of over 90 mins I was eventually transferred over to EE broadband.  As I was with BT for so long I ended up with Discovery TV and TNT sport for free in the app. (I had the original BT sport app when it was launched and has been on my account as free ever since)

When I moved to EE recently I was assured that I could keep my Discovery TV & TNT sport add-on.  However,  as soon as I put the phone down I got an email stating that they are stopping these services straight away.

I called back and got a different agent who told me that if I wanted access to these again it would be an additional £20 per month (after the introductory period) .

I was promised a call the following day after he spoke to a manager to investigate this and I'm still waiting 1 week later.

Has anyone else felt like they have been mis-sold a package and told everything is fine on the phone, only to get an email saying the opposite? Not impressed at all with EE customer service so far.

@Shopps  You got an email stating these services were stoping from BT because you moving to EE.  Yes they will stop from BT and you’ll get all relevant information about that because the service from BT is being stopped.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
