Transferring from BT to EE account

Hello, I have today transferred from BT to EE fibre, my router is all connected and the internet is working fine.  My BT account is not showing on the app anymore so i'm assuming the connection has moved over.  

 

When i try and log in to the EE website it tells me to call and verify my identity, after speaking with 2 call centre staff today it still wont work....anybody any ideas?

Hi @scallydeejay What did the helpdesk tell you? Did they refer this to a specialist team?

The first call they said it was because my BT ID was still active and they deleted that and said it would work. It’s still not. 

the second call they said they had to activate it their end. Still no luck. 

it says I need to verify by my identity and phone back? 

Going round in circles with it. I already had an EEID from years ago when I used to have EE mobile

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I wouldn’t expect this to be fixed anytime soon, I switched over from BT start of March and still can’t access my BB account despite multiple calls and confirmations that it would be fixed.

have a look around the first 2/3 pages of this forum and you’ll see lots of people in same situation, some going back months.

however if you manage to get it fixed, it would be really helpful if you shared the steps required.

Hi. Does anybody have any update on the migration to new EE account issues? It’s been 6 weeks and I still can’t view my bills online. Back to good old fashioned paper bills!

I moved over last week and my EE bill details appeared in the EE app the day after my account opened. I do have an issue with the BT app which has stopped working, but the MyBT website still shows my old bills and my old account if I log in. One thing I would add - my log in for this forum is differnet from my EE account - so when I log in here, I don't see any bills or info - my login for the EE app is different and it does show my billing details.
