Transfer to EE from Virgin costs to be covered

I have transferred to EE from Virgin and the sale said the transfer fees would be covered as part of the package even if in contract. I received an email to this effect. No amount was mentioned just that it would be covered. However Virgin have now billed me £613. How do I get this paid and settle the transfer fee with Virgin.

@Jonmclinch : EE will pay up to £300 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee. It will be applied as a credit to your EE bill.
