Transfer from Virgin Broadband to EE full fibre

I have a big brown Virgin box on the outside front wall of my house and cabling put under the front lawn from the pavement. Will this box be removed and replaced with EE s own cabling and box through the existing ducting or will it all have to start from scratch again and new channel through lawn? Another cable goes from this box around the corner and through a hole into the living room. Will all this have to be done again too? Is the Openreach cabling better than Virgin? I have EE mobile and want to have BB too to get better deals.

@Diane100 If you do not have, never had, do you know that OR has an Infrastructure available to you. All makes a difference.

Use the OR checker to see what is available to you first at your address.

Fibre Checker

In case Fibre is not available same as below and also use the address checker for the copper cable.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.
