Hi all, I'm thinking about moving my existing BT FTTP Broadband to EE FTTP Broadband.
- Do I need to use the EE router that comes supplied or can I use my existing Ubiquiti router?
- Any noticeable drop in speeds or problems?
- Is the switch over fairly quick so I wont be without broadband for a few days?
If anyone has switched from BT FTTP to EE FTTP I would be grateful for any feedback to help me make the decision. Thanks for your help.

- You may use your own router. You'll just need to set your EE BB Username & pwd in it. You should keep the EE-supplied router just in case for support purposes CS require you to put it in to troubleshoot issues.
- Dunno.
- Shouldn't take more than an hour or may even be almost instantaneous as it's a switch from like to like. No home eng visit should be necessary but they may need to attend the exchange to complete the switch.

There should be no difference in speeds or problems as EE use the same Openreach lines and BTW equipment, only the authentication is different.
