I have today gone into a new contract for Broadband and TV bundle which includes netflix. By the time I upgrade Netflix to no adverts I'll be paying £61 a month. I have been stressing out over the cost and phoned EE yesterday but was advised they couldn't do anything until new contract had started today. So I phoned today and was told they can't move on cost. So frustrating that new customers get a better deal than loyal customers who have been with BT/EE for years. Am I right in thinking that although I can change my mind within 14 days that because contract has started EE won't give reduction in price. I live alone, have one TV and don't have my phone with EE, don't do gaming and only use Internet for shopping.

@Linda174 it’s called new customers offers it’s how all providers entice new customers. You’ll not get a cheaper tariff being a current customer.
Not sure where you’re going with I live alone because no one pays more if there a more people within the household with the same service as you. You don’t get a discount being a solo customer.

@Linda174 : Have you just joined EE for BB? Did you migrate from another ISP?
You do have a cooling-off period up to 14 days after installation to cancel your BB order FoC, but I can't see EE offering you a price reduction to keep you..

Hi @Linda174
Leave then. It is simple to change these days unlike before as I did a few months back. Some great offers especially if you use links in cash back sites.
Thanks
