That's the first mention of this that I have seen. Hence the question.
Would that count as "slamming"?

I complained to the CEO's office - email not hard to find - and received compensation. I was unfortunately put on a new 24month contract taking me to August 2026. But I've raised the issue again recently and am now out of contract and about to leave.
I will say the switch was seamless though.
It's now not the policy to switch BT users to EE but the "guides" don't seem to have been told that though.
Also when I was switched I was told there was no way to undo that other than taking out a new contract with BT.
Thanks for that. A picture begins to emerge.
Definitely something to watch out for.

@Vb24214606 Are you the one who claimed the EE don’t do direct customer support ? You know the same customer support staff that are BT customer support staff.
So kind of proving that yourself.
Give me a mo and I’ll find that thread

@Vb24214606 First point EE and BT are NOT the same company. EE is EE and BT is BT they are both owned by the same parent group but are completely separate companies on there own rights.....
Once you moved and signed up with EE then you where an EE customer, nothing to do with BT anymore...
As before if you are so unhappy then if it is not to late you can move, back to BT would be a new 24 month sign up to join and EE may wave any fee's, if you go somewhere outside the EE or BT group then you may expect to have a termination fee applied for any remaining period.
If you complain and it is all upheld then EE will release you penalty free and the complaints procedure has it all fully documented to what/where/and when.

Does anyone actually know what the actual problem is ? Apart from just changing ISP because all see is someone have a rant about changing from BT to EE. The network is still operated via Open reach and it’s just a different header on the bill.
