New Broadband 7 hub - orange light (not flashing)

Hello there. I have a new hub and installation date and all is valid and current. The hub and the connections are in the right place and I have switched things on and off and all the suggestions for x amount of times (before anyone says that). The orange light stays on without flashing.
The SMS service has been no help and sending me round in circles. What do I do?

So to be clear - your installation date has passed/the install completed - correct? A steady orange light is indicative of an authentication problem out on the network so may well need support from the helpdesk 😕

Sorry to ask but have you aslo tried powering the Openreach ONT off for an hour or two as well as rebooting the EE hub?

Eh, you have an installation date but has it passed & been installed? You won't get a BB connection until then.
