Switching from VIrgin Media to EE

Surin

Hi,

Just signed up to EE Broadband and TV - switched from Virgin

Got an confirmation email from Virgin, that they received a message from EE about the Broadband switchover. However, there was no mention of the TV package. Do I have to contact Virgin to ensure that I no longer need that aswell? Or is it just assumed that TV was also cancelled?

Cheers

Surin

The BB switching process (OTS) only covers the BB & landline. I expect you will need to contact VM to cancel the TV unless it is auto cancelled with the BB.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

@Surin Did you let EE know that you had Virgin TV for the package and you wished for EE to take care off both, Broadband is what is done but sometimes with package deal then both, VM TV cancellation time is a lot longer than that of changing BB, have a look on the VM site but sure that TV is one month notice.

No, EE didn't give me the option to do that, via the online portal.

Looks like I will call VM anyway. May need to spend ages to get thru.
