Hi I switched to full fibre from virgin media on Tuesday the 8/4/2025 when I try to test my router’s speed via the EE speed test on the app it always fails saying the fault is on there side.The safe search is also not working.Can anyone give me some advice on fixing these annoyances.

Try instead the TBB speedtest, preferably wired using an Ethernet cable supplied with the router, here http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html . Click on the "Results Page" button at the bottom of the graph you first see and then copy to here just the "Link to this result:" link that you see below the next main graph.

@Lifein4k Most all app error's are not fixable by you, the app has a tendency to be updated in a 2 week cycle, and both the ones you mention in particular have been broken for some period off time, patience will be what you need, and just check app to see if/when both start to work again.
