Have to say, coming from Virgin, that EE has been really depressing so far. First they lied about my switch on date over the phone and now I have a mini hub to tide me over and I cannot get it to switch off safe search. I called and one person said they never heard of this issue (!). A second said I could only have uncensored Internet when I am up and running (and they delayed this by ten days) but I need to sign into my admin or something daft. And then I went to an EE shop to be told they didn't know.
So basically EE is a mess and wants to treat Internet users as children.
Can anyone assist?

This doesn't help and/or address the specific problem. Plus I've done what it's asked on the app (which does not contain a link to something called "groups" on android despite the app telling you to access "groups").
Can anyone be of more help and specifically answer my points, as grateful as I am to this gent for the copy/paste.

Are you on contract or PAYG?
- On Contract: Follow Switching Content Lock OFF or ON .
- On PAYG: You can't control Content Lock from your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18. Alternatively you can visit an EE store with some photo ID.

Answer my Q!
The Hybrid Connect hub is just another mobile router & is content unlocked just like all other mobile routers.

OK so now I'm really confused - simple yes or no, can I unlock the temporary hub?
If so, *how* because all morning I was told *I cannot* (please, I beg you, make this easy)

like check this out? I have it at 18+ and no luck. Is EE just massively useless?
