All.
https://ee.co.uk/help/service-status
Does the above link only work on some devices? Notably, I am unable to check the status of (my mother's) FTTC broadband connection using the above on iOS, Mac OS. Is anyone successfully able to use the Status Checker link? (All I get is permanently spinning/loading icons).
For such a fundamental part of the service, I struggle to believe that it can be completely broken! (Though, I do note that the mere existence of a (text message) fall back suggests it might not be completely reliable!).
Many thanks.

Even when you get to login it just shows an unreadable page of 4 or 5 grey bars with no words:
I suspect It might only work for New EE BB & with your mother being on FTTC she may be on legacy BB.
If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult BT Service Status to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.
