Waited 2 weeks for an engineer, engineer turns up 4hrs late with no phone call, txt, email or anything to say hes running late. EE didnt have any way of contacting him. Didn't manage to finish the job due to a problem. Get email confirming a new start date and time for the broadband to be installed. Then a day later get another email saying within 10days. I ring up EE to find out what's going on and they say nothing to do with them its to do with openreach. Try contacting openreach they say contact EE.

Absolutely joke at this point. I've never known a company not able to contact their own employees, and not know what's going on. Its mind boggling the amount of mis communication happening. All im after is a set day it will be installed.

@SteveLoftin : You are a cust. of EE, not of OR. So you can only go by what EE tells you, who in turn is at the mercy of OR.

OR staff are not employees of EE. They are a separate co. who are sub-contracted by EE to install BB infrastructure at premises like yours. It is the availability & scheduling of their engs. that predominantly determines when individual BB installs take place.

It will be much the same between any ISP & their infrastructure provider.
