Smart hub pro View connected doesn't show everything, ee app doesn't setup

Been running the smart hub PRO for a week now and finding it pretty Sh?t.

Connected devices, well I have all four ports on the back of it connected but only one port shows things connected.

My phones connected to the wifi but again not showing up under connected devices on wireless.

When using the EE app to configure the wireless it shows preparing update but never gets past stage 1.

Are there any hints in how to improve this hub other than sending it back and buying a descent router?

@Mccltd1 Would be easier if you said exactly your requirements for a BB ISP router. Unfortunate you seem to be having so many problems and issues with connections not displaying correctly. Not unusual to have a few odd ball's. As long as you are not tied to DV landline phone you are free to select the equipment that you require, and since you are Pro, then anything that you like to connect to the OR ONT will do.

Did you ever get help with this? As mine is doing exactly the same. I am a new customer to EE and I feel like cancelling it as the whole reason I got it was to control the interent and turn it off at nights.

What a con

@AFG21 How long have you had the Router connected, and on the app can you see your account and any billing link information, everything is ALL tied together, and just takes a little time to gel!

If your app is not tied to the account then do not expect much to work.

Hello EE,

Yes I am fully connected and set up on my app.

I can see my billing and account information.

It all works fine apart from not seeing the rest of the devices that are
connected to my Internet.

Please can you tell me how I can see them?

The whole reason I got this was so I could control the interent with my
children and I am now paying more money for something that does not even
work 😒

@AFG21 If you are not seeing all the devices on the app program which can be the most irritating at best, then you either have something not set up and the app is not getting the info from the router. All the devices show up in the app, you create multiple groups to suit your needs, and assign the devices that you wish into a particular group.

The account, the devices, the app, the remote control i will switch the kids off when i am sitting in the office 30 miles away, it's all intertwined together, one brick out the wall and it start's to become unstable!

Get the app to see the router then you are part off the way there. You selected what you wanted and needed to do, if not working out then you need to rely on EE Tech services to help...
