Smart hub 7 WiFi extender

Hi I’m looking at WiFi extenders for my smart hub 7. We’re just living a it of coverage at the back of the house. I know the WiFi extender discs aren’t supported with the hub 7 but I’ve seen an EE smart WiFi extender SW10A. Is this compatible with the hub 7 or would I need the smart WiFi extender SW35A?

You would need the SW35A for the SH35A (Smart Hub 7 Plus), or the SW40J for the SH40J (Smart Hub 7 Pro). I have included details of both as you have not specified Plus or Pro.

The SW10A is a Wi-Fi 5 device designed to compliment the EE Smart Hub (SH20A), which was essentially a re-badged BT Smart Hub 2. It will not work with any other routers.

Is that the SH 7 Plus (SH35) or Pro (SH40J) that you have?

You are looking the wrong WiFi Extenders. The WiFi Extender (2023) (SW10A) is meant for the EE Smart Hub (2023) (SH20A).

For the Smart Hub 7 Plus (SH35A), of Set up your Home Broadband EE Router, you need the  WiFi Extender 7 Plus (SW35A), of Setting up Smart WiFi. Similarly for the  Smart Hub 7 Pro (SH40J).
