Smart WiFi SW40J is not pairing with smart hub SH20A

We switched to EE fibre with an EE smart hub SH20A for a few weeks ago.

It came with a smart WiFi SW40J. When we stand the two devices side by side and attempt to pair with the WPS buttons. The smart WiFi box flashes blue for a few minutes and then falls back to flashing orange.

Are these two compatible?

@DaveP3 No they are not compatible!

The Smart WiFi (2023) (SW10A) are meant to be for the Smart Hub (2023) (SH20A). If your hub is correct one sent for you so assume you are a BT convert!

Thanks Jim. We did convert from BT. Are they only giving the SH20A out to BT customers?

I didn't think any new SH20A's were being shipped on EE 🤔

@DaveP3 - what broadband package are you subscribed to?

@bobpullen They are, neighbour across the road had the BT/EE jump in, EE grabbed the account shipped out the 20A, BT customer LH not knowing what the RH doing, so BT converted back and shipped a Smarthub2 to him, circet came installed Fibre on Friday had NO work order did manage to get the ONT up and running, new BT Router in place and just waiting on the fttc connection to die off before moving the Landline onto the new Router when ever that is going to happen!
