The light on my Smart WiFi Pro keeps changing to orange and I lose some of my connections.  If I turn it off and on again it seems to pick up the signal.  Certainly not what I thought I was paying for?  Can anyone help please?

@Juniper23 About what the lights mean and what is going on with your EE Smarthub Pro.

Thanks for this, it is helpful but doesn’t solve my issue. It does confirm that I’m regularly losing internet connection.
The orange light comes on several times a day so obviously not a good thing.  I need to know how to fix it.
Thanks

@Juniper23 What is actually lost when you go to the steady orange light, how many devices do you think are connected to the extender, you might see that in the app but best to take a look through the web manager http://192.168.1.254 will get you there, are all connections to it wireless or is there anything on one or both off the Ethernet ports. If you take a look at it check that the Smart Hub Pro and the Smart Wireless Pro are both on the same FW.

Indication on the EE side is only to try moving the unit closer as it is struggle with distance connection to the Router.

If the Smart Hub Pro and the Smart Wireless Pro are not on the same FW, what do you do?

@tnj Nothing, EE will update it sometime when they get round to it!

thanks for your response.

the whole reason I was pursued by EE to purchase the Smart Wireless Pro is because router is in one room and tv/etc are in different areas and the connection was not good. It’s an old property with thick walls.
I’ve placed the Smart Wireless Pro near the tv etc to solve this problem but it’s  not really working.
not sure how to resolve this.

Sorry but just do not see any logic in this and any advice you where given is completely wrong, Pro is not the way to go, you seriously need to cable between the Pro Router and the Smart Wireless extender for a wired backhaul.
