Smart Hub Pro - How to change DNS settings?

I am setting up Smart Hub Plus and want to change the DNS server to 1.1.1.1 but I don't know how, I can't find the option to change it anywhere.
Goole returns that the change is done this way:

Home > Advanced > My Network > IPv4 Config & switch DNS Servers Auto to OFF

But with me there is no such option in My Network.

Any help?

Virtually any modem-router will be OK. From TP-Link to Linksys (CISCO).

Virtually any router-only will do, from ASUS to Netgear.

Unfortunately, yes I was fooled too. This is quite ridiculous, it's an essential setting ....

@robomotic Why? It is only essential if you wish to not use any off the EE DNS control, otherwise there would be no point. Change your device DNS settings if they allow you to do so.

@JimM11 Why do BT / EE prevent using a different DNS server on their routers?

Is it related to the Hotspot network?

@Ewan15 All of the manage functions and the parental controls have to use the EE DNS server's to function correctly.

@JimM11 - not sure that's true with some of the later hubs.

The later version of Smart Hub Plus firmware that's been reported on a few hubs allows DNS modification. I have a Smart Hub Plus that's in this state (2.68.11) - see here.

With that feature enabled, Parental Controls continues to function.

Have to? There's no rhyme or reason for that! Where's your supporting evidence?

That's useful to know, but the EE DNS servers ought to be more reliable for looking up servers on the rest of the Internet though.

I'm here because I'm suffering slow website loading times. Some websites even timeout, but then miraculously load immediately on retrying. This really feels like DNS issues, so if we're tied in to using the EE DNS servers, they ought to be up to the job

@wedgberto Are you suffering on every device?
