So - The TV message says that it cannot obtain an IP address from the router and I have to "allow it". How do I do that? I'm suspicious that there's a fault with the TV itself as it won't connect via wi-fi either.
I have ethernet in two other rooms - no issues.

@Dan1971 have you reset the internet connection on your Sky Glass box? Chances are it is still got your old details in there and just needs resetting.
If that fails, have you tried another ethernet connection on the router?

To clarify...
I've done a factory reset on the TV. Same on the router. It worked fine up until about a week ago, but now simply won't connect and appears to be looking for an IP address from the router when it speaks to it via ethernet..

I am having the same issue - sky glass is not recognising the IP address.
did you get any joy?
