SSID help

I’m transferring over to EE broadband from BT.

The easiest way to do this I thought would be to use the same SSID and password from my old BT router to my new EE router. This would save the hassle of going around the home having to enter new WiFi username/passwords on each device.

The problem is the new EE router will only let me change to a new password with at least 1 uppercase character.  My original password from BT doesn’t have any uppercase letters.

Please tell me there’s a solution for this. Otherwise I’m in for a painful afternoon at some point!

Cheers

As I remember it you can ignore these warnings & just press on & just press Save. I did!

@Rye_1  if it’s asking for a mixture of upper and lower cases for a password then unfortunately there is no workaround.   Having upper and lower case letters is more secure than just lower case.   It’s now a possibility of 52 letters not 26.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks, I thought that would be the answer.

It’s putting me off changing over to be honest
