Router doing odd things!

My EE broadband has been working fine for the past 12 months, no problems.   I had grouped all my devices and everything was working fine.   Until about 3 weeks ago.   I noticed my Ring doorbell camera and spot camera kept loosing connection.

The only way to fix this was to restart the router.   But after a few hours they would again lose connection and not reconnect.

I logged into the app and checked my broadband status.   It said I now had over 80 devices associated with my broadband.   Checking this I noticed it had duplicated most of my existing devices but marked them as offline for the past couple of months.  So now for example instead of 1 iPhone I now have 3, two of which are offline.

I turned on the compatibility mode for 2.4Ghz only and reconnected the Ring doorbells but they are still failing, and I still have all the extra devices which are offline and have been duplicated.   Its as is my router has updated and its screwed everything up.

Anyone else experienced similar?

Count me in - wondered why all my Ring cameras were dropping even though I turned on the compatibility mode for 2.4Ghz.  Its also duplicated devices on my network and marked them as offline.

@DoobyDoo1 Let the Forum know if the Fixed channel is holding it steady for you, turn your Comp off unless needed for something else.

@DoobyDoo1 As you have seen the other post the reply is on it.

Yes saw it and changed the channel to a static one. Will let you know how I get on

Though still doesn’t answer why all my devices have gone weird and duplicated though - have to redo all the groups again!

@DoobyDoo1 Have a look at the EE Hub with the web manager to see if that also shows the same as the EE app, https://192.168.1.254 to get to it, then advanced and around the Lan somewhere, wonder if you were getting multiple Ip's or Mac addresses assigned by the DHCP server on the Hub. You may be able to get the ones that are inactive as far as the app is concerned and delete those, cannot look or check no longer using.
