I renewed yesterday. I was told activation would be on Monday but the new equipment is arriving today. As I already have a service will the new router work from today?

Should do. Have you upgraded to diff type of BB? If so, from what to what?

Still full fibre but different package. New router 7

@Melbury1 Should be no issues just connect it up, hopefully EE have taken care off anything / everything else apart from sending you the Hub also! Speed change on the Package has to be applied, so that may be the reason Monday was given for EE to get that done. If higher than FF900 you may also possibly require physical ONT replacement on the FF connection!

Thanks

I shall connect on activation date as I didn't receive the WiFi extender that was not included in the package.

I had a conversation with EE yesterday which informed me that I needed to speak with them again after activation about missing extender.

@Melbury1 Do you have a matching Extender with the Current EE Hub that you have just now?

I was told that my current extenders are not compatible with WiFi 7 hub. Thanks.

@Melbury1 You do not say what you have to start with, so yes NO Wifi 7 Extenders you DO NOT wish to be switching ANYTHING at all if your current home layout relies upon and needs the Smart Wireless extenders to push your wifi about were you need it.

If you had a couple off wifi 6 models, then EE have dropped the ball and the call them back later is just rubbish reply to that, you will find that they have NONE if stock and fobbed you off! Below link to All the EE fixed Broadband Equipment.
