Refund

Hi

I recently had full fibre installed which is fine. However, I was charged twice last month ..one direct debit from my old  EE account number and one from my new . I had been assured my old account would be closed down. I have requested a refund for the amount overpaid. I have still  not received this refund. How long should this process take before I see the money back in my bank ?

Hi @Pollyannapink,

Thank you for posting. I'm sorry you were double charged. When a refund is done back to the bank account it normally takes around 5 working days for the fund to reach the account. 

When were you told that the refund had been requested?

Thanks for your reply.

I did only request the refund on Saturday 25th May, so thats OK.  However, the girl I spoke to in the refund department, did tell me it would be in my bank within a couple of hours. Unfortunately  I didn't catch her name . I was losing the will to live quite honestly, as I had to speak to three different people and the call took an hour in the end !

Anyhow, I will await the exciting day when it hits my bank !
