Hi, having a real problem with my smart hub plus.
Had multiple visits from openreach for over a month for them to say today that there is no problem from the line between cabinet and my property, they says the problems with the router. On my 2nd router now and both saying 0.2 mbps. Tried the router at a friend's property and it worked fine.
Going round in circles speaking to EE.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Hi there
I was just wondering did you ever get this issue resolved I'm having the same problem with the router and am also on my 2nd smart hub plus which after having it for 1 week the problem of very slow WiFi speeds is happening all over again. IIt would be good to know if you got this resolved and how you went about it please

@Scouser : The OP never said 1 way or another but that would not help your issues which will be specific to yourself.
Best to start your own thread, describing your problem & stating what EE BB plan your are on, what EE BB kit you have & showing your router stats & speedtests as this OP has done.

Same here. Had openreach out who just checked the line which u already know is fine, had ee "engineer" out who ran a test and said it's fine, yes I know my fibre line is fine! Neither of them cared about the router they just completely disregarded it and ran a speed test. Both suggested I spend my own money to buy additional equipment. they sent me another router after me saying don't bother because it will behave the same way, guess what, it behaves the same way. I've had the best experiences with ee but since they sent me a new router and increased my package they just don't care whenever I call them. All they say is we can send you a router or engineer, an engineer would be great if they actually logged on to my router to identify where the problem is. I know for certain it's to do with settings I don't fully understand because if I unplug my Ethernet and plug it straight back in my downloads go rapid for 1 download, try to download something else and it's back to 70+ hours for a 3 minute download. I'm a month in and sick to death of unplugging cables multiple times a day. My old bt hub hub works perfect and gives me full speed all the time but we insist I keep the hub which isn't working

@ReadyUpEm - this is an old thread and was originally about an EE Smart Hub (2013) - which incidentally, is probably the same device as your old BT hub which you say is working fine.
What hub you're using?
What is your Ethernet plugged into and what device is struggling with downloads?
Are other devices on your network equally affected?
What are your WiFI speeds like?
Anything else non-standard about your network? e.g. switches/additional access points etc
