I have a smarthub plus and neither via the app or the admin panel across any browser is there the possibility to remove an unconnected device .
On my previous BT Home Hub router there was a button when using the admin panel to "remove" an unconnected device but not on the EE Smart Hub plus.
The only thing I can find in the app is to request that a device is forgotten but then the message says "....it'll still be able to connect to your wi-fi" It is not clear whether the device will connect automatically when in range of my router or will need to re-enter the network password? Please advise.

I would like to remove these devices from my Hub simply to tidy up my list of active devices. I cannot find any button to remove unwanted devices either on the App or the router itself.
Don't think it can be done via the web interface, but there looks to be an option in the app: -

Now I want to remove that device's access and can't see a way to do that without resetting the access to all devices on my network. The BT home hub used to have the functionality to remove individual devices.
Removing a device from the previously seen list (even on the BT hub) does absolutely nothing to rescind access to your network. If that utility provider's mobile device were to enter range again it would simply reconnect to your hub because the Wi-Fi name/password are saved on the connecting device.
The only way to prevent this would be to change your Wi-Fi name/password, or set up some sort of parental control rule to block access for that device (although personally, I don't think it would be worth the hassle).
