Problem ordering Broadband

fkisby

We ordered EE broadband ages ago and had some issues so it was canceled out, now we want to re sign up it won't let us sign up and says we have an order in process. But we canceled it back in April and had confirmation of it being canceled.

I have the same problem Want upgrade to FF placed 3 orders with customer services and still no active order. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone and sadly customer service have not been able to sort out the problem.

Never had a problem upgrading packages when I was BT customer but his is now becoming a serious problem. You get passed about from team to team and get told all is sorted but still no order gets processed. Getting  to the point were  I will just leave it until I am at the end of my contract because I have already been told that I will have to upgrade to FF then . So it will be EE problem then not mine

@ian404 So who told you that you HAVE to upgrade to a FF Full Fibre connection?

Guy from customer service. I told him I could not see this as a true statement but he was adamant

Yes, if you leave it beyond Jan. 2027 you will have to move to FF by then. By 31 January 2027, all UK copper-based ADSL and FTTC (Fibre-to-the-Cabinet) broadband services will be switched off and retired as part of the nationwide PSTN network closure. Users must migrate to full-fibre (FTTP) or alternative digital services before this date to avoid losing internet and phone connectivity.

@XRaySpeX what an outragrous false claim. PSTN is being switched off not FTTC. Not everyone will have FTTP by then
