Poor service

I first signed up with ee about 6mths ago and was told by an engineer that they couldn't connect me because the property below had my line advising me to phone ee and request to be moved to bt, I join bt and the new engineer says its already setup the last engineer couldn't be bothered via ee and continue for 3 mths to get billed for a service I wasn't even receiving even though I was phoning every 2 weeks and getting told its sorted it took 3 mths to resolve.

I recently moved and was transferred from bt to ee and was sold on the 1gig pack being told it was so much faster than my bt promising me speeds min 700 at twice the price, yet again the engineer comes I explain its a shared property and I need the router putting in my part of the property he responds with I can't do that so as it stands my router is in the open and I'm supplying free Internet to other residents, my signal is unstable regularly dropping below 100 I phone ee get told there's no problem after 1 1/2 hrs call well send another mini hub, same problem I book an engineer  they come literally 5 minutes to tell me I need my equipment moving its a big old solid house you need an ONT shift I've put it on the system phone ee they'll do it free of charge its not a problem you have a right to keep your equipment safe secure private, I phone ee get told yes its not a problem we can do that/then  she say she can't put it through she'll try another team the other team can't do it I'll get my manager to do it /my manager is off I'll leave a message with them,  I'll phone you tomorrow to let you know what day the engineer will be out but it will be this week 3 days later I'm still waiting for a call back. Everytime I try to call back all I get

EE motto the uk best broadband provider , they forget to advertise, uks worst provider of customer service

Hi there @TediousStuff, welcome to the EE Community.

Thanks for taking the time to let us know about the experience you've had recently, and I'm disappointed to hear how this has left you feeling.

Just so I can be sure on where we're at with this, am I correct in thinking the last you heard was from a team leader about getting an ONT transfer completed, but you're still awaiting confirmation of an appointment date?

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole page and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@TediousStuff You will not be supplying free internet to others unless they have both the SSID and the Password from the router, and if so then you can change both to only something that YOU know and keep to yourself. The position off the ONT can be irrelevant as long as you can ethernet cable from the ONT to the position that you wish the EE router to be. If you do need an ONT relocation the EE CS will have to organise that for you with OR to do the work.
