Plusnet to EE

My elderly parents are being moved from Plusnet to EE as of the 31st March, this is not their choice and have been told by Plusnet they have to move due them wanting to keep a landline (trust me a smart phone is not an option). We have been told by Plusnet that a new hub will be arriving from EE but they can’t tell us when, I have also contacted EE to find out but they can’t apparently see the new account. The only confirmation we have is an email from Plusnet to say they will be moving to EE. Help as they get anxious enough due to a number of illnesses and this whole process is proving quite difficult for them and us.

They should get the EE router a postal day or 2 before their installation date.

Next question? They have now received their new EE hub, because Plusnet appear to be part of the increasingly large EE/BT family can this be connected straight away or do they have to wait for the changeover day? Have spoken to both Plusnet and EE and neither much help.

If they are getting the same type of BB & speed from EE as they were getting from PN, they may connect the EE router now.

@DCW123   No, they will need to wait until the changeover day.

The PPOE username and password details are different for PN, and cannot be used on an EE Router..
