Can’t connect WiFi Extender pro to SH32B hub despite being sent Replacements.

I have recently moved from by to re and have received the smart hub SH32B along with the WiFi extender pro. Unable to pair without local Ethernet cable. I can get solid aqua with Ethernet but as soon as cable removed - nothing pairs. Never get past flashing blue then flashing orange when using WPS method. Spoken with EE but no luck. They have sent me replacement hub and extenders (4) but all have the same problem. I’m having to use a TP-Link mesh extender  (£50) which works perfectly and pairs with the hub from several rooms away. Please help me get the WiFi extenders to work.

@Andrew_Hird   the SH32B  is an EE Smart Hub plus, and if you have the pro extender they are not compatable.

Thanks for response. The EE extender is a Smart WiFi SW40J and the hub is a SH32B. All the replacements have been sent by EE.

@Andrew_Hird   like I said, they are not compatible.

I beleive the extender you need is the SW30a.

Hi Mustrum, so you got me thinking. Last week I got an EeParcel out of the blue but to be honest I thought it would be another hub to go with the other 2 EE have sent me so I left it boxed ( in case I put a hammer through it in frustration). When you mentioned compatibility, I thought let’s try the latest box they sent. My current ( and the replacements they sent) hub is a rectangular smart hub SH32B where as the new one is a white SH40J. Tried it and bingo I have solid aqua on the extender at far end of the house. Are you saying they have been sending  the wrong hub (twice)?

@Andrew_Hird   glad you got it sorted.

I guess the question to ask is are you on the 1.6Gb service, or are you paying an extra £10/month for WiFi7?
