A Part Charge is usually when you switch a product or add-on in the middle of a billing month so you in effect get charged for the old product for the 1st part of the month & for the new product for the later part of the month.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

So what i’m understanding is that im getting charged basically half of the old package i had which was £20, but the part charge is £16.26. But im also getting charged the £20 for my new chosen package and if i’m getting charged half my old why do i not get charged half my new.

No, the dates against each individual charge. They should each have a date range against them or under a heading.
