Hi all,
I’ve just joined BT again, and I am on the fibre 2 package 67-80mbps and was wondering if I will be sent the BT smart hub 2 or the new EE smart hub plus? As I have a family member who’s with BT and was given an ee router instead. My main reason for this is, is because when I had BT last time the range was dreadful with that router ( bt smart hub 2) and a different router would be appreciated.
has anyone else been given an EE router or is this just a mistake.
kind regards

@mah1rkhan : Assuming you are really joining BT, that's for BT to decide, not EE. Ask BT.
I should imagine you'd get the BT SH 2. I can't see you getting an EE SH+. At a pinch you might get the EE SH (2023) but that's only a clone of the BT SH 2.

@mah1rkhan have you joined EE or BT?
Who are you coming from?
BT Group are directing residential customers to EE for Broadband, with BT serving Business customers, so you should be getting an EE Router.

This is a bit confusing to me as I went on the website to order and placed the order but I did add EE tv to the order and I received the email from BT to confirm the order. Does this mean my order will be cancelled or the contract will be taken over by ee?
Kind regards.

I believe BT still sells EE TV with BT's BB. The fact that you got the confirmation from BT shows you're joining BT.
