Hi folks,
I've recently had full fibre installed to my home, I get over 900Mbps when connected EE Smart Hub Plus router, from my phone in the same room. But when I connect to the Orbi WiFi Mesh system (1 Router and 2 satellites), the speed drops to 600Mbps in the same room and drops even further upstairs to less than 200Mbps.
I have the Orbi Router connected to the EE Smart Hub, The 1st satellite about 15ft away in the Kitchen and the 2nd satellite up stairs in the room directly above the 1st satellite
Is there a setting I need to enable on the EE Hub???
I used to have a Three 5G Hub, connected to the Orbi system, and the speed was consistent all across the house and the garden, on all devices, and I can't figure out why?
Any help would be awesome! I've been trying to get support from Netgear for nearly a week now, and they can't seem to find a fix via the Orbi's UI and login window.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@DarkShigeru When you do anything please update and send info again, we don't want to be looking at old stuff, or we will make the assumption and re direct as @Mustrum has advised.
Do not want you to get down the rabbit hole with no return path, that is the avoidance!

@DarkShigeru I linked the Netgear ORBI info/manual/updates etc right at the start of the post, that is your bible, so if you have not downloaded it yet, suggest you do and see what it says.
Baby step's see that all the other stuff is working how you expect!
The answer to passthrough is NO....

One last question. Is there any benefit in enabling the "Support PPPoE-passthrough?
No, that is not required.
However from you settings, you may want to :
1. Tick the Respond to ping on the internet port - if you want the ThinkBroadband Quality Monitor to keep an eye on how your broadband is doing.
2. Change the MTU to 1492.
Otherwise, just link the other Orbis in the best position for the best WiFi signal around the property.
Thanks for coming back and letting us know how you got on.
