I just agreed to change broadband providers today. I’m moving to EE broadband from plusnet. I just got a text from EE saying to ensure my Openreach Modem is connected and showing green.
I haven’t got an Openreach modem. My plusnet router just plugs directly into broadband/ phone wall socket.
Do I need an Openreach Modem for EE brodband to work?

Which router are you using? Weren't your sent an EE router by EE?
You don't have or need an OR modem. You have ordinary Fibre (FTTC/VDSL) BB delivered at your BT phone wall socket directly to your router which incorporates a VDSL modem.

@ShireGolfer those instructions are for those with Full Fibre.
What product did you order from EE?

It has still to be delivered. I’m getting the Smart Hub Plus from EE. Thanks for explaining
