One day after activation my router is flashing orange

Yesterday was activation and I was online but today the router is flashing orange and will no longer work. I have turned it off and on several times to no avail. Is this a common problem?

I work from home and this is very inconvenient as I get little phone data in my house.

Any help / suggestions very welcome please and thank you.

@Tommo1979 Not a very common issue, what type of service do you have FTTC or FTTP, if FTTP have a look at the ONT lights to see what condition they are in!

Which EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router do you have (read its label)?

Thank you for your replies, I am at work at the moment (because I can’t work from home) so cannot answer your questions now and at home I have bad data reception so I will likely not be able to answer until tomorrow.

Just wanted to let you know in case it appears like I’m ignoring your questions. I will be back with replies as soon as I can.

Thanks again.

@Tommo1979 Hopefully when you get home, it's all working as you expect!👍

Hi thanks for replying. It’s a Smart Hub SH32B. Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi thanks for replying. The ONT lights are fine. Not sure how to tell the answer to your first question I’m afraid. I appreciate your help.

I’m afraid that was not the case. Luckilly I can get data upstairs to reply

You have Full Fibre (FTTP) from the fact that you have the SH32B & an ONT.

@Tommo1979 your equipment type has been answered by @XRaySpeX, so you are down to the ONT lights, 3 should be on, but really need to see the specific of it, picture would be good post it up, cable from the ONT to the WAN on the EE Router, or anything at all could be wrong. Http://192.168.1.254 and on status screen will show if the EE is connected at least to the ONT lan you can post that up also.
