I am now being billed for fibre1 and phone line even though Open Reach still have not connected a fibre cable to my property because the distance to the nearest connection is so far away. They have not even started laying a cable as they have to get in their words” Permission from third parties”. I am wondering if I should get the £6.50 compensation a day for lack of service. Pie in the sky I expect.

@Benji110 what bills have you had, and when does EE say your service will start>
Have you had a confirmed start date? This would be the date they would use for any compensation calculations.

Which EE BB plan have you ordered?
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.
