Did you mean:

No broadband internet service for 4 days. Fault bot is useless.

I live in Wales.  Storm Darragh hit hard and we lost power.  after we regained power, we had internet briefly and then that went out too.  I sent a fault report to EE using 150.  It said 'fixed within 4 hours'.  I waited past the 4 hours and still no service.

I send another fault to 150 and it said it would be fixed by midnight that day (8th of December at the time).  This came and went and the next morning still no internet.

I am currently still waiting to get service back with no update from EE and even if I submit another fault to 150, it still says "normal service will resume 8th Dec 23:59", despite getting 6 texts saying it's been fixed.  ~What a joke.

I try the live chat, it says no live chat for tech support and to use 150.

I try to phone EE and it says to use the fault bot.

I go in circles trying to get an answer, all the while my brother and I are struggling to work efficiently as we both work from home and require stable internet.

My previous ISP would be on the phone to me within 10 minutes and continuously send me updates on the problem when there was one.  why does EE literally do nothing?

EE has a serious problem with offering things they can't deliver on.

#unrelated: When I signed up, the salesman said I would get fttp by the end of the year.  looks like that isn't happening.  the salesman said I would be able to get a Static IP and I soon realised that isn't happening either, which causes significant problems for me and my home run services and business.  The salesman promised a wifi 7 router and I got the old one instead.

Now, when I need to know what's going on at least, there is no answer from automated services, no human to speak to (on hold for over an hour with no queue system?) and no proper timeline on the fix either, or even if it's being looked into.  This is disgusting service.

@ShadeBlack Have you sent HELP to 66033?

I believe when you're in the fault reporting tool via text you can also text GUIDE to get someone to give you a call back.

Might only work on certain options but it's something I have used before.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post just the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

Yes, no sign of Full Fibre (FTTP) there. See if Fibre Checker - Openreach gives any dates.

Our FTTP has been down since 3am North Wales, fix estimate has been pushed back 3 times now - absolute joke

Yeah end of 2026.

Problem was I trusted what the salesman was talking me.  EE clearly instruct their salesmen to lie through their teeth.

Anyway my current issue is still the same

how can they continue to say it'll be fixed it in the past?
