No idea what is going on here, app and hub are clearly not on the same page. Hub makes all manner of clicking noises and suddenly disconnects the broadband.
Checking the app it says a fault was logged on1st August and then says an Engineer came out . No Engineer appeared here and far as aware on that day there was no fault. The following day 2nd there was and had as it kept booting me out of gaming. Not good when you are a new customer and a Pro gamer who joined as EE was reported as a gamer friendly service. This oddity has continued with frequent disconnections of all broadband Ethernet & WiFi, poor connections and the router with its multiple clicks turning itself on and off.
Using the app to refresh the hub, just in case, gets to about 60-80% then says fail. Checking the status then reports a fault to restart the router. Only way the hub refresh seems to work is via the webpage direct to the router and no entirely sure it does that fully, or turn it off and let the angry clicker start up again.
The webpage is horrendous to use its glitching, Firefox is used, & it is in a constant refresh state, no idea if that is the webpage or the state of my broadband?
Today, out of the blue its disconnected the net at 10am and again suddenly at 14.22pm. Currently at 14.55pm the router is what looks like turned off.(no lights). Yet I am online.
The app is also useless to check without an EE connection to find out what is going on. It also keeps telling me to link the wifi which is clearly done as I can see the devices etc.
As a new customer I expect fluctuation line speed. A router that clicks like some bad tempered bug and shuts connections was not one. Faulty app, hub, app and hub causing issues, or what?
