This morning there is new Pro router firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 and it starts by saying use HTTPS which is then says is not available. It then requires the admin password to get into any level of access. Now testing out what it does.
It allows you to set your own DNS servers in DHCP.
It still does not let you lock the 2.4G WiFi to a channel, it keeps reverting to Channel 11

That's interesting. I am still on r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 app version 3.1.3. Will see if it arrives early hours of tomorrow morning. Hopefully they have fixed the fixed WiFi channel bug and the ethernet bug.

I've plugged mine in again tonight but still have the issue with WiFi calling. When does the firmware normally get installed. Had to r evert back to my own router. Really want to at least give the supplied hub a go. I'm currently running the version shown below
Thanks
R2.64.7-R-1303938-PROD-1

Updates normally come through around 02:30 (early hours in the morning). Which router are you referring to?

Smart hub pro, on the 1.6gbs service

That firmware was released in February 2025. I would suggest a factory reset and then leaving the router connected for a week, which should give plenty of time for the updates to be received.

@Mason2214 Do as @Huggons1 suggest's you will need to leave it connected for the update to happen, there is NO other process to get it!

R3.8.26-R-1595999-PROD-1 App Version is 3.1.3.19 24/12/2025
This version has broken manage broadband on the EE-App, it just hangs now as it attempts to load get this after a while.

The issue with the EE APP was caused by me changing the Admin Password via the Hub Manager webpage.
I had to do the following:
1) Clear the EE APP data
2) Reset the Admin password back to the original, via Hub Manager (The EE APP refused to accept my Admin Password)
3) Go though the set up and pairing process again on the EE APP using QR code (Which worked again as Admin password is embedded)
In the process I discovered something that will make a lot of you very happy.😉
Part of the wizard now includes a check for Hub Updates, so it rechecked my Hub to see if it needed an update, which it didn't.
If I get time today I will clear the app data again and plug in my old hub to see if it gets updated to prove the process.

The wizard for me has always checked for updates when pairing with a new router but it has only ever updated a new router out of the box. It has never yet updated to the latest version on a router already in use.
You can force the wizard to check by deleting all your data in the app (in Android it is settings-apps-EE-storage-clear data) and then re-pairing. I tried that again this morning but I am not yet being offered the latest update.
