New Smart Hub 7 pro has arrived but the cable to be attached to the WAN output (with the red ends), doesnt fit into my one slot phone wall socket. ANy ideas? They talk of an Openreach modem but I haven't been provided with one of those.
My wall connection looks like this:
and not this:
Any bright ideas?

When is your installation date? Has it yet been passed?
What is the name of the EE BB plan you ordered including its speed?
If you have ordered Full Fibre (FTTP) the router connects to an ONT modem on an inner wall. It is fitted by OR on the day of installation. None of your pix are it. They are all phone sockets.

@sussej The EE Smart Hub 7 Pro as now called with the new EE naming only supports a ONT FTTP connection, so copper phone socket's are a complete NO NO, you must be getting a FF ONT yet to be installed, or if you are just new to the property possible the old one was taken and a Fibre cable with a green plug is lying about somewhere!
Link below may explain.

If you’re getting fibre installed and it’s just that the hub has arrived first, the OR engineer should be putting something like this in on the day.
Apologies - crappy pic as I had to crop it.
