Engineer has just left (typical) after installing the EE smart hybrid connect box to my BT broadband.. it was working fine and now the red light is constantly flashing - have 2 4g bars aqua blue.
Have turned everything off, unplugged, checked wires and it connects (aqua blue light) for 2-3 mins then starts to flash red again
What can I do please

Well it worked when they were here. Internet is running fine this is as you say as a back up for when BT looses internet. We have just renewed our bt contract and this is what was sent. BT engineers fitted it and didn’t say anything about it not being compatible

@karenmann Your contract renewal is it with BT as your BB provider, or have you been moved to EE for your service?

@karenmann The Hybrid from EE is compatible with the BT Smarthub2 router that you have, look on the BT forum regarding getting the Hybrid to work with the BT router.

So after a lengthy call to BT technical support a red flashing light isn’t bad… the 4g element is working fine on the EE hybrid the issue is it keeps loosing connection to the BT hub. After trying different solutions which didn’t work I’m now waiting for BT Newcastle technical team to get back to me - could be 5+ days so for now…. Still not working 100%

Hi put a pin in the little hole and start over again I had to do that mines fine now.
