New EE Hub not connecting to Aurora AOne Hub

We have recently switched from BT to EE full fibre. All of our devices transitioned to the new hub apart from the Aurora AOne Hub (the red exclamation mark flashes). We have been in touch with AOne support and they are blaming the EE firewall settings. However, because the device is not showing up on our list of devices we cannot alter the firewall settings for the device. Does anyone have a solution. We have done the obvious reboot of the EE Hub and Aurora AOne Hub. We have also reset the Aurora AOne Hub back to factory settings.

@NAEW1 Do you have anything else Ethernet wise working on the EE router, doing this via a laptop or mobile? Hub manager My Network port 1,2,3,4 and devices=? what, should show something ethernet connected.

Thank you for your help. It is rather odd and am at a loss what to do. I'll go back to AOne again.

We have CAT6 to my office and I tend to plug the ethernet cable into my laptop and that is connected to the router at the other end...this is working well.

@NAEW1    had another look, the manual is mor specific later on.

Which ports need to be open to use the AOne Hub?
If your AOne Hub is displaying a Red Exclamation Mark ! it could be pointing to an Internet
Connection issue that could be caused by your Internet Router blocking access to the Hub.
For the AOne Hub to work correctly, the following ports need to be open in your router firewall:
UDP Ports 5560 - 5566
TCP Port 5568
TCP/UDP Port 8883
Please allow inbound and outbound traffic.
If your router firewall restricts access to these ports, you will need to update your firewall settings
before you can use the AOne Hub and perform a Port Forward on the Internet Router.
For comprehensive instructions on using your firewall and updating your settings, please refer to your
Router manufacturer’s or Internet Service Provider's website.

@NAEW1 And if you look on the hub manager at the My network you should see port connected devices.

@Mustrum Will go have a look see, go have a beer, put the feet up!

Thank you for this. When I go to the port forwarding part of the Hub manager it needs a device to alter the ports. However, the AOne hub does not appear on this list. I'll copy and paste what you have said to EE and get advice on get around this issue.

Thank you and that is all working ok.
