Moving soon and EE does not show on my postcode.

Long story short, the missus and I have had to move and our daughter is also getting her own place above our new one.

She checked to see if she could get EE Broadband and her door number does not come up on the list. But others do.
When looking, our does not either, and we have just had EE Broadband installed in our current place a week or two ago.

Now, I am guessing, as the new address has a working phone socket (well, we was told it works), we will just plug our Router in and all good to go, right?

Also, does anyone know what the big white BT Openreach box is for that is plugged in underneath our new phone socket ?

Thanks for any help/advice, moving home is bad enough without having to worry about not having any internet 😄

@SeaGlow You are wrong, plugging it in will not get you an EE service in any way shape or form. You need to start contact with EE CS and get the house move organised, that and if it is a BT line for phone will allow EE to start the transfer process, if it not and possible a Virgin service then EE CS will also be able to say what can be done. Contact details below main link and select as you need.

Take a picture of your connection boxes you are talking about and use the camera icon to attach and post.

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for both your new addys? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your addys.

What is the name of the EE BB plan you have ordered there including its speed?

Post a pix of the big white BT Openreach box & your new phone socket

Thank you for your reply.

I'll contact EE now and start the ball rolling with them. Fingers crossed, there is not issue.
We are not allowed to have Virgin installed due to it being a new build, not allowed a tv Ariel or sky dishes either.
So if EE can not (for whatever reason) install Broadband, I'll cry! I just signed a 2 year contract lol

I am hoping there is no issues at all, the building is a new build. Maybe that's why some door numbers are
not being listed.

I'm away from both homes at the moment due to work, I'll get some pics on Tuesday and post them, I am sure EE will have contacted me before then, but just for people's curiosity, I'll still add them here.

Thanks for you help. appreciated.

The plan we have now (for the last 2 weeks) is the Essentials: Fibre 67 package.

I've just contacted EE, fingers crossed they reply soon.
I am away from both homes at the moment due to work, I'll post a pic of the Openreach box (for the curiosity of the members on here) when I get home Tuesday, it's a strange looking thing.

Thanks for you help.
much appreciated.

You can still do the BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker now.
