Hi
I have made several calls to EE trying to get my BT landline ported over to my new EE digital service, I have a new EE digital number but like many, I want my original BT number on this new service, how long should this process take as I have seen it can take up to 3 weeks, so far during this whole process I am sorry to say that EE has not instilled any confidence and I am not confident that this will be resolved any time soon.

Thanks for your reply and advice, I did say that I wanted to retain my BT number and I was advised that this would happen after the BB and digital service were provided. I have spoken to a few of their staff and although helpful as you say it does help when you feel you are talking to the right person, unfortunately, I will have to keep ringing them.

Our BB was installed on the 7th of this month, the digital voice service was not working so had to ring up on Friday the 9th to get that livened up.

@Waldo1960 provided you gave your BT number at time of ordering it should have transferred at the same time as your broadband, or been told you were getting a new number. There can of course things that go wrong, but no excuse for not letting you know what the issue is and how long it will take to get it fixed.
Alas the harder thing is getting to talk to the right people, and all I can suggest is that you keep in contact with Customer Services until you get the issue resolved.

@Waldo1960 Do you consider this is as from 9th to 16th as the time taken to get your number corrected. Does take some time to sort out, not instant fix!👍

Yes, and also thanks for your help. I rang my number this morning and got "You can't leave a message right now" and I thought that's good as before the number wasn't recognised, I'm relieved it's all sorted now.

Seems to be very hit and miss. I'm in the same boat, and nobody I've spoken to seems to have a clue.
